FAQ About DTF Printing
DTF, which stands for Direct to Film, is a printing process that produces full-colour, weedless and cutless transfers. This process involves laying down a layer of ink on a clear DTF film, topped with a layer of white ink, and covering it with DTF powder. After curing the powder, the transfer is applied with heat to any colour or type of fabric garment, and the DTF film is peeled away, leaving the transfer on the shirt.
DTF inks are applied to a carrier film and coated with adhesive powder before being cured. The resulting transfer is then heat-pressed onto the item to be printed.
